FIRST ANNUAL DragonPencil AWARD for EXCELLENCE in CHILDREN'S LITERATURE

DragonPencil is the champion of self-published children’s authors. In order to bring more recognition to the field of self-published children's books, DragonPencil is proud to announce the first annual DragonPencil awards for excellence in children’s literature.

You may nominate as many of your author's books or your author may nominate their own book. The winner will receive 2000 embossed foils for their books, a plaque, and induction into the DragonPencil Hall of Fame.

The categories include the Children’s Illustration Award for superior illustration, The Children’s Literature Award for superior story telling, and the Book of the Year Award for overall excellence. All children’s books, concept books, picture books, chapter books, easy readers, and YA novels first published in 2005 or 2006 are eligible candidates.

There is no entry fee. To enter, candidates should send one copy of their book to the address below. Contact information should be on a separate sheet of paper and tucked inside the front cover.

Entries will not be returned. Entries must be received by November 15th to be eligible.
