Fort Lauderdale, December 2006: Who among us hasn’t wished for extraordinary powers at least once in their lives? Who hasn’t hungered for revenge in response to a cruel, senseless act committed by a stranger, or an acquaintance for that matter? In his book, Demon, Craig Tweedie recounts the frightening outcome when a gentle spirit is pushed too far, trampled beneath pointless hostility, and begins to fight back.
Neil has encountered bullying from as far back as he can remember. Neil is beaten near death one evening over an altercation that took place earlier in the day at school. In his disillusionment, Neil is met by Luharen, a six-hundred year old demon that offers him unlimited power and vengeance. In return, Neil only needs to offer his allegiance to Luharen and his brotherhood of demons. Neil accepts Luharen's offer and becomes a demon, and sets off on a horrific rampage of vengeance and gore.
The once innocent and timid Neil becomes blood-thirsty, evil to the core, taking his wrath out on those who dared to belittle him all his life. One by one, his enemies are killed in the most brutal and violent of ways.
Can anyone dear to Neil make him remember who he was? Or will the horrors prevail?
