Observation

You gave us eyes that we might see another’s sorrow
You gave us eyes and let us go where we must go
You gave us eyes to see today and not tomorrow
You let us see those things that none should ever know

You gave us ears that we might hear the children crying
You let us hear too many say what we can't do
You gave us ears that we might hear the sound of laughter
You gave us ears that we might hear the silence too

You gave us arms that we might rise to lift our brother
You gave us arms for reaching out a helping hand
You gave us arms that we might go to free another
You gave us arms to go and build a better land
