Wishful Thinking
I’ve had doubts upon this journey
Sometimes fearful on this quest
Still look back and I question
Did I do my very best
Perhaps I set the bar too high
Too ever touch my dreams
So near, and yet so far
Just out of reach, or so it seems
My road is growing steeper
In this race we all must run
