Article 5

FORT LAUDERDALE, June 2007: As of today there are eighty-nine prisoners on death row throughout the U.S., awaiting the final conclusion of their incarceration. What to Do While Waiting for Wings

FORT LAUDERDALE, May 2007: The emotional stress of caring for a failing parent is not simply a personal problem any longer, but has consequences that impact the caregiver’s workplace as well. This new phenomenon is becoming so prevalent that some companies are actually offering geriatric care management (GCM) benefits to their employees. Now recognized as “The Sandwich Generation,” these individuals are caught between raising children and caring for ailing parents. In her absorbing book, Waiting for Wings, E. A. Davis imparts a cutting-edge wisdom about the numerous emotional and practical tribulations taxing the modern caregiver.
